Your losses hurt. You knew they would, but didn’t know how much the hurt would impact you. If you’ve lost a loved one, a pet, a job, a marriage and you’re struggling, you are not alone. Death, divorce, illness, the end of a dream are all profoundly difficult situations that take time to process and heal from. When you’ve lost someone or something dear to you, it can feel like your world has stopped, while everyone else’s lives have moved on without you.

Grief is a difficult, necessary journey. At times, grief might feel like a quiet sadness, while at other times, it can feel like a punch to the gut.  You may be familiar with stages of grief; it’s important to know they are not linear and even two people experiencing the same loss will likely grieve very differently. Wherever you are in processing your loss, whatever type it is, you deserve support, compassion and the safe space to talk about your loss(es) and to be heard.

  • Our sessions will give you space to express your thoughts and feelings about the loss or losses you are dealing with in your life. We will talk about experiencing denial, facing sadness and anger, getting unstuck, learning to live with the loss. I will meet you where you are in your process and help you to move toward acceptance as you are ready. Learn more.

  • That really depends on you and what your needs are for grieving. Because each of us deals with grief differently, there isn’t a formula or a prescribed timeline, and sometimes the process is complicated. You can decide when you want to take a break or end counseling. Learn more.
